Winter Camp Reuion

Merry Christmas and a Happy New year was the message that the Wacky Staff wanted to convay to everyone as they sang, danced and oh yeah did an opstickle course that had everyone laughing. Not to mention me as I went did a slide across the floor! We all had so much fun! See ya all in the spring! Love u all!

Wow, I't seems like just yesterday that I was at camp tipp with all the staff and wonderful campers! During the winter i love to look through that summers pictures! But christmas is soon aproching only 12 days to go! i hope you all made your christmas list. well one of mine have alresdy come true! My first christmas wish was to see all the summers campers and staff for the holidays! WELL THAT CAME TRUE! Today in the mail I got an invite to the "Winter Camp Getogether" I was so excited! I hope you all got the same invite! I hope to see al of you there. And staff and campers who aren't able to make it have a totaly rocken holiday! I am so excited!

I hope everyone is doing well. This summer taught me so much and changed my life. I'm still not sure what it was if it was the people (BayBay, Jell-o, ect.) or just the enviroment. This camp has changed my life. When i left camp my life was quickly falling apart. But just memories helped me through and showed me that you are lucky to have your family. They are the ones who will do anything for you. Scott always said that "the best memories are the moments that take our breath away" This camp was like my family when I felt I didn'thave one this camp has come through for me so many times so now its my turn. So thank you everything Camp Tippecanoe you have changed my life. I love you camp tippecanoe!

Jell-o Dosen't Smell-o

Hey everyone, the counsoler of the week this week is Angela Pinero (AKA Jell-o) The title may sound a little weird but anyone who was at camp week 4 may know what i'm talking about, Luke wrote a song for Jell-o and the first line was " Jell-o, Jell-o you never smell-o" That was one major hilght of my trip. The hilght was an inside thing between Jell-o and I. It was called the 10 point smile; and the story behind this is one morning Jell-o looked depressed so I told her she need to smile more and after that she didn't talk to me for 2 hours so I thought she was mad at me but when I aploligised she said it was ok she wasn't mad the news just made her think! So after that my friend and I rated her simles. So now we joke around and say where is your 10 point smile and by popular demand of the poll you totaly rock! Hope this post gave you a ten point smile Jell-o!

A BayBay

A BayBay, ABayBay were them kids at where them kids at! You all know her you all love her th wonderfuly halorious BayBay. She was so cool she had her own theme song! She made everyone laugh and loved to hipeo one of her campers from week 3 and 4 awake on a daily bases! Altough BayBay was REALY scared to go canoing, she face her fears for a weekend camper! Hey BayBay someone in my family pimped out your theme song " A baybay a baybay where them kids at up by the lodge with all the staff" I hope you like it! You better come back next year I'f you dont there will be alot of unhappy campers and we cant have that can we! We love you BayBay!

Calling all counsolers!

Hey counsolers! I hope the beginning of the school year was fun for everyone! I love my new school for those of you who need an update! Im so excited for next summer! Im already counting down the days utill I see all your wonderful smiling faces!
When I went to camp on the 20th I strated to remember all of you and the wonderful memories we had together like Jell-o and the 10 point smile, and BayBay and putting ahhh on the end of everything like niagrahhhhh come onahhhhh! LOL! Those are just a few exampels! I'm sure you counsolers and campers could think of many others! If you do leave me a comment and tell me!
I cant wait to become a counsoler at Camp Tippecanoe the best camp on earth! Everyone has been wonderful and many of you counsolers are my insperation! Like BayBay, Jello, Brady, and the rest of the crazy staff! I love every single one of the counsolers they all are like my second family and camp is like my second home, like I said at camp fire! This camp has pulled me through during so many hard times! So this is to the staff, thank you so much for a great summer! Oh and if any of the kids from spain read this post ¡Usted mece gracias para un gran verano! ¡Este verano no habría sido completo sin todos ustedes!

Camp Tippecanoe Ride-a-thon

Hey ya'll! What a wonderful day at camp! The weather was fantastic and the chillie was great! If you didn't go you missed alot! The North Canton, and Lake YMCA Leaders club held a mini carnival! What a great sucess! The kids loved it! (Maranda couldn't stay away!) They also had archery, BB's, boating and HORSEBACK RIDING THROUGH 1100 ACERS of camp! Thanks to BayBay, Amanda Overmire, Chriss Brady, Alisha, Danger, Sausey, and all the other counsolers who came to spend time with the campers like me! A special thanks to BayBay for spending the day with me you rock! You helped me in my time of need, so thanks! I hope you all had a great because I know I did!

Hey guys waz up? I hope everyone had a great first two weeks of school! I know I did! Did you hear about camps Ride a-thon? It is saturday September 20th at camp! The $6 fee includes archery, boating, crafts, poney rides and hay rides! There are 1100 acers of horse trails! Call the new camp office for riding prices! I hope the staff shows up I would love to see you all! I hope to see ya'll there!

50th Anniversery

After being away from camp you miss everyone and the fun. Well my friends and I all agreed we all needed a camp fix before we go back to school, but how? So I got on the Camp Tippecanoe blog and saw they were having a camp tippecanoe's 50th anniversery! I called my friends right away and told them about the weekend stay and the 50th anniversery , but the parents said no to the weekend but yes to the 50th annivesery. We were so excited, and couldn't stop talking about it. The night before none of us could sleep we didn't know why though how could we be nervous when we are like best friends with everyone there. But we ruled out everything else thst came to mind why we couldn't sleep so the reson we picked was being nervous.

On the way to tippecanoe we couldn't shut up about our counsolers Jell-o and BayBay we were so excited to see them, after being away for a month. When we drove off the pavment and on to the dirt road, we all shut up. We looked around for awhile then stared to talk, but when we say the sign that said " Drive slow future at play" we all shut up again. Then we saw the lodge and all the people I got butterflys in my stoamch. As we walked in I was pulled aside by Mandy and got a warm welcome that made me feel better she told me how glad she was to see me and I told her I'm glad I'm back. Then the girls called me in the lodge and there stood April she came over and also gave me a warm welcome and gave me a hudge hug! I was alredy feeling better.

After we signed in we headed down to the archery range because I was pretty sure Jell-o would be down there, and half way down the hill I heard her laugh and started to run but I stoped when I was close to the bottom. Then said " Hey Jell-o" She looked up and ran over and gave me a hug " O my gosh I cant belive all my favorit campers are here" and under my breath I said not all of them are here we were missing my best friend from camp Katireana. I missed her alot. So we spent some time with Jell-o and then went over to see pycraft. Then up to see BayBay and she was mad because we spent the Whole day with Jell-o and Py. She wouldn't let it go she kept saying " because jell-o's your favorit" and she was making me feel bad. So at dinner I sat by BayBay and Jell-o and BayBay were fighting over me and for some reason I was acting like a jerk to Jell-o and I didn't know why so right as we were about to go to the jumper my parents arrived! I didn't want to go home. So they let us have our fun Jell-o and I raced through it and I only won because I rolled off. And that was the best saturday of my life!

Week 4

This week was the best week by far! The theam was Dr. Suess! On sunday before the campers arrived there was rain that stoped by tippecanoe. What better thing to do when there is mud? MUD SLIDES!!! And that's exactly what my friend and I did. We also had a mud fight and my friend put mud in her hair! But when the camper's started to arrrive BayBay demanded we go shower off, so we did.
After meeting our cabin mates at dinner we headed down to the wonderful opening camp fire. Those are always fun! On monday night we did a very fun and well put together Dr Suess scavenger hunt. We got all of them! Then we did our first chaple and met the Lorax who taught us about respecting the earth! Luke was the Lorax so it had to be fun!
On Tuesday nigh we headed to the playing field for a game of sticky chaos. Then we headed to the all beautful chaple rock where we heard Pycraft read Horton Hears A Who. On Wensday the heat drew our dance out side. This was no regular dance though it turned into a 20 on 20 vollyball game and the biggest water fight ever. To end the night Luke read Oh The Places You'll Go and had some homemade ice cream! Yum!
On Thursday evning we had dinner at the camp fire circle and we played games in the playing field. Then we had closing camp fire a tear jerking one. Tears streamed down our faces as we listend to people say what a diffrance camp made in there lifes. This camp fire ended 2 weeks worth of strong friendships, memories, and fun! The night ended with raggers! On friday we did the same as always! And that was week 4 in a nut shell!

Week 3

Week 3 was so awsome! I had Jell-o and Alisha. They rocked! The best memory at camp is raggers if you know what I mean it is like nothing I've done before. My favorit memory with the cabin was at counselors point when I coverd Jell-o in clay. Then her and the cabin coverd me in clay. This week was a big sucsess! I cant wait to come back.
